Start Day 3. June 18, 2005 We were cold in the room this morning. I was next to a window, and we didn't have the heat on. Austin is at 6500 feet, and within about 3 miles, up a mountain road east of town, we went over a pass that was 7485 feet. It was down to 35 degrees up there, and stayed between there and 40 for about 50 miles. Very cold riding.
